In 2001 Filippo Sorcinelli founded Atelier LAVS, that studies and realizes sacred vestments
and accessories for the catholic liturgy.
LAVS represents the excellence in Italy and abroad, keeping constantly the contact
with many dioceses and working in a tightly collaboration
with the Pope’s Liturgical Celebrations Office.
The work of LAVS is recognized everywhere across the world for having realized
many clothes
for Pope Benedict XVI and for Pope Francis First Mass in 2013.
Filippo Sorcinelli‘s work have been realized for the exhibition
Saint Jérome of Georges de La Tour, organized by Musée departemental georges de La Tour
and the Conseil Géneral de la Moselle in collaboration with Luovre Museum in Paris
(Catalogue IAC Éditions d’Art, 2013).
In 2013 he also was charged of the reconstruction of the sacred vestments
in the occasion of the Reconnaissance of Pope Celestino V remains,
in L’Aquila.
